In a urban paradise such as Austin, nothing is too unorthodox. Pull together a cityscape, persian rugs and a candelabra and you have yourself an urban vintage wedding such as the one we are about to show you. Courtney’s dress is a custom design by Bliss vendor, Linda Asaf! Captured by Geoff Duncan Photography, this wedding is the right mix of grunge and comfort for these newlyweds!
To write something about each and every wedding I shoot is no easy task. My wife on the other hand, is a naturally gifted writer, whereas I would much rather step back and let my photos speak for themselves. I love what I do. Mostly because I love the people I get to work with. Brendan & Courtney are two of our closest friends, and I could go as far as saying that their wedding was the most anticipated of my career. Maybe this explains why I find it so difficult to write after each wedding? Because it’s nearly impossible for me to find the right words to accurately describe how I felt that day. Or how much love I have for this couple. So when you add it all up: The coolest wedding ever on top of a parking garage in downtown Austin, two of my favorite people, a Cinco de Mayo dance party with a thousand glow sticks, and fajitas for dinner… my words won’t do this day any justice!
